Synopsis
Down a dingy alleyway in New Brunswick, NJ, Franklin, the city’s homeless troubadour, is about to put on a show for an audience that only he can see, thanks to the microchip implanted in his brain. But this is no ordinary, everyday musical, nope nope nope! This here production is based on a gen-u-ine movie, just like how the folks on Broadway do it! Franklin’s even got the perfect screenplay to adapt: Zipperface, the harrowing tale of an S&M gimp’s prostitute-based killing spree and the female detective desperately trying to discover his identity, all the while attempting to prove herself to her chauvinistic coworkers. With the help of his homeless pals and a full hobo band, Franklin presents this gripping murder mystery (and oh so much more!) in Zipperface!!?!: The Hobo Musical.
